What Is Remote Online Notary?
It is the process in which a document is notarized online with both parties (notary and signer) being present via webcam.
For this service, you (the signer) will need to provide me (the notary) the document for which you need notarized. I will examine and determine if the document can be notarized, meaning that I need to ensure the document includes the proper terms and certificate required for notarization. Once I have confirmed such, you (the signer) will then be emailed a link to join me (the notary) online. You will be asked to verify your identity by providing a photocopy of your ID and answering security questions that only you will know the answers to. You will provide payment information and after that, you will enter the virtual room where you will see me via webcam and the signing of your document will be performed. Upon successful processing of your payment, you will receive your notarized document to your email for immediate access.
