Apostille Service & Why do I need it

Purpose of an Apostille

An Apostille certifies documents for recognition by Hague Convention member countries, eliminating the need for double certification. A document authenticated by one member country is valid in another. The Apostille, either a stamp or a printed form, contains ten numbered fields with a title in French, as required by the Convention for validity. The information within these fields may be written in the issuing authority’s official language or an additional language.

Apostille Record Certificate

After a document receives an Apostille, you will be issued a certificate. This certificate includes the document’s country of origin, the name and role of the signatory, and the authority responsible for the seal or stamp. It also specifies the certification location, date, record number, and, most importantly, features an official seal and signature.
